For Girls Only

DISCLAIMER: Guys, don’t read this one. Even if you’re curious, you’ll wish you hadn’t, so save yourself the heartache. Thanks.

Well, tomorrow is the big day. After 33 years of carrying them around (actually more like 18, since they showed up around age 15), I will officially belong to the small-chested girls club! Tomorrow at noon, I’m having my breasts reduced to a C cup (a large B cup if I can lose a little weight!).

I am beyond excited!!! These suckers have been in my way all these years and I’m so very blessed that our insurance will pay for almost every bit of it. The main reason is that for at least the past year, I’ve had constant, severe neck pain.

I’ve heard the recovery is two to three days. I’ll have to wear a special bra for a month to six weeks. But the worst part is no picking up baby for three weeks. My amazing parents are coming for the weekend and they’ll take Keenan back with them for the week. I’ll miss him horribly, but we can’t think of a better solution!

Anyway, I just wanted to share. One, so you can say a quick prayer for me, but mainly because this blog has become somewhat of a confessional for me. I just feel like if God gives me the words to share, I just have to. Because somebody might read them and know exactly what I’m talking about…and may feel strangely comforted by my imperfections :). Love to you all!
